At the business school with its world class teaching and training and state of the art libraries, a student has everything needed to study management. While the University of Chicago has many formal tutoring programs, the business school does not. But a student can always approach the professors for any kind of support for their courses. If students need more, we at GraduateTutor.com provide tutoring for all the quantitative courses that Booth students encounter in any of the above programs. The University of Chicago provides support to its students through its various tutoring programs.
College Core Tutor Program
This program is conducted by the College, the undergrad college under the University of Chicago. It is a comprehensive peer based tutoring program that has one-on-one as well as small group tutoring. The program concentrates on scientific and quant-based subjects such as Chemistry, Economics, Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, and Biology. The tutors are mainly graduate students who were former Teaching Assistants in the core science courses or upperclassmen who have outstanding academic grades.
It is conducted in Arley D. Cathey Learning Center. It’s mostly a drop-in service and no appointments are needed. It is available Sundays through Thursdays from 7.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. and there is no restriction on how many times they can seek help. Tutors will be mostly for priority courses and during times of low demand, advanced courses may also be tutored.
The list of priority courses is available here and students can visit the Cathey Learning Center located in 3rd floor of Harper Memorial Building, 1116 E 59th St. Chicago, for any guidance.

It is conducted in Stuart 330 located in 3rd floor of Harper Memorial Building, 1116 E 59th St. Chicago. For the upcoming sessions, please visit the center.
There are also tailor made courses with different objectives conducted by the Writing Center every year.
